Document Creation Specialist
Pearl Capital, a growing financial company specializing in alternative small business financing, has an exciting opportunity for candidates to join our underwriting team. We are seeking a candidate with strong administrative and research skills and excellent attention to detail. This position is based in Jersey City. Responsibilities include:
Document generation, from templates, using various legal agreements;
Review contracts to ensure accuracy of all data and inclusion of any relevant legal entities, relevant owners and banking information;
Review public records on business and owners at time of initial offer using proprietary databases;
Note any finding from research of public records to include any relevant items including bankruptcies, judgements, liens and criminal records;
Check public records for both the business and owners, for potential deals, using proprietary databases;
Note any relevant items, during search of public records;
Review all information to ensure no fraudulent representation;
Ensure that any incoming contracts and relevant documents are properly saved and organized to their assigned folders;
May include other responsibilities, as directed.
Qualified candidates will have one (1) plus year related experience; strong work ethic, experience with public record searches and document creation preferred, excellent attention to detail; ability to work in a fast paced, high volume sales environment. Prior experience in healthcare records/compliance department, experience as a mortgage processor or legal assistant preferred.

Jr. Help Desk Support
Leading alternative small business financing company is seeking a Jr. Help Desk Support professional to join our technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leader in small business financing. This position will be responsible for providing support to end users and assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure to include, hardware, software, and networking.
This position is located in our Headquarters in Jersey City.
Responsibilities will include:
Provide technical support to onsite and remote end users;
Answer questions and resolve computer problems for end users in person, or via telephone or email;
Deploy computers and peripherals (i.e. computers, monitors, printers, etc.); Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, hardware, peripherals or appropriate software;
Create and maintain detailed documentation for the department(instruction guides, policies, procedures);
Respond to request via ticketing system and update ticket as appropriate; communicate status to direct manager; Monitor and follow up on all requests from submission to resolution
Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications;
May be required to perform other tasks and duties reasonably related to job responsibilities.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree along with:
1-2 years related experience;
Experience with Microsoft Windows 7/8/10;
Experience with Microsoft Office 2010/2013 (Outlook, Word and Excel);
Experience with setting up, configuring & troubleshooting PC & Laptop Hardware;
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016 and Microsoft Windows Active Directory;
Understanding of TCP/IP Networking;
Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems;
Familiarity with installation, maintenance and deployment of Printers/Scanners;
Familiarity with Internet Browsers such as IE, Firefox and Chrome;
Skilled at multi-tasking; able to coordinate, organize, prioritize and execute responsibilities in the face of conflicting priorities and unexpected situations;
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills;
